Ryan Lesansee (Pueblos of Jemez and Zuni) earned a Bachelor of Science degree in
Accounting (Cum laude) from Adams State University where he also ran cross country
and track. Upon graduating, he worked as a Tax Staff Accountant and then served four
years in the United States Air Force as a Financial Management specialist. During his
time in service, Ryan was a 2023 SAIGE Military Meritorious Service award recipient for
his efforts in organizing Native cultural events and honoring Native veterans’
contributions to military service. He enjoys actively engaging in his local communities
through volunteering as an assistant track coach for Native youth and as a
photographer for his church.
