Joannie SuinaOwner/Founder of Corn Pollen Consulting, LLC., Co-CEO of the Return to the Heart Foundation

    Joannie Suina is an EcoFeminist Indigenous scholar from the Pueblo of Cochiti, NM whose works seeks to illuminate the importance of Matriarchal roles as the center of healthy and regenerative economies.

    Suina is the beautiful blending of her Puebloan, French, and Irish Roots. She stands beside her community as a daughter, mother, auntie, and culture revitalizer. Suina holds a B.A. in Native American Studies, a Master of Jurisprudence in Indian Law, and is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of Washington, Tacoma (Muckleshoot Cohort for Native American Educational Leadership Scholars). She is focusing her research on Healing-Informed Leadership Practices through centering Indigenous Womxn and their voices.

    Since 2022, she has served on the Board of Directors for New Mexico Community Capital and is a proud Native Entrepreneur in Residence (NEIR -NMCC) graduate.
